COHL CLUB, Kalisz 1795 - Santiago 2007+

Reencuentro de familia Cohl en Chile tiene 2 propósitos:
1. buscar, investigar, aportar, intercambiar puntos de vista con respeto y humor, para reconstruir las raíces y otros aspectos ahora desconocidos, difusos y también anecdóticos, en la historia de nuestros ancestros comunes Cohl.
Específicamente de 4 hermanos, dos varones y dos damas, que llegaron a Rancagua, Chile, en la segunda mitad del siglo XIX, llenos de ilusión como correspondía a su edad, ellas incluso con maridos e hijos menores, a iniciar una vida nueva y a hacer familia y fortuna en nuestro país que, por lo ya sabido, era radicalmente diferente a la que tenían en su tierra natal en Kalisz, Polonia, donde ya no regresaron.
Razones poderosas existieron para ello y por cierto son parte de la esencia misma del grupo que desde hace meses investiga, conformado por personas parientes y amigas de varios países y culturas.
La historia más fidedigna conocida a la fecha y que une sin excepción a todos los miembros de Cohl Club, comienza en Kalisz, provincia de Governia, Polonia, entre los años 1847 – 1852 (en estudio), con el matrimonio de nuestros aún poco conocidos tatarabuelos comunes y cuyos nombres recién supimos, Nachman Kohl y Malka Fogel Nadel.
No por eso no queridos ni mucho menos olvidados por este Club que lleva su nombre familiar.

2. Otros motivos:
a) que sirva para encontrar a un importante número de familiares directos, tan descendientes como nosotros de esos 4 hermanos Kohl (Hersz-Jerman / Pessa-Paulina / Gusta-Augusta y Abraham-Adolfo) y ciertamente también parientes nuestros. No sabemos de ellos y están ahí. Entre ellos nuestro recordado bis-tío Adolfo Cohl. Este es un deber irrenunciable que de seguro sus 3 hermanos nos lo agradecerán. Recién en abril ´08 se encontró la partida de nacimiento de Abraham Kohl en Kalisz, año 1865, también conocido como Adolfo en Chile. Ahora debemos averiguar que pasó con él.
b) por un hecho fortuito el destino nos ha reunido, lo que permite a Cohl Club potenciar el trabajo e interés individual, que deseamos también sirva para armar un sui-generis documento que podremos legar a nuestros descendientes: árbol+álbum genealógico COHL:
En Álbum Cohl no hay restricciones en No. de fotos, tamaños, color ó B/N, etc.
La idea es que nos presentemos, pasarlo bien y que finalmente nos conozcamos después de 155 años. No hay restricción alguna más que el auto-control y debido respeto, porque éramos y todavía somos una sóla gran familia.

We are trying to locate direct or indirect descendants or close relatives there might be, of a Kohl (now Cohl, in Chile) family.
We are specifically speaking of Nachman Kohl & Malka Fogel Nadel. Both, and their 13 children, were native of Kalisz, Governia, Poland.
The 13 children of Nachman Kohl, were:
a) with his 1st. wife, LAIA (Leah) BLACH:

7. - Abraham (Adolfo in Chile, no news about him)

There are approximately 200 direct blood descendants of 3 children of Nachman Kohl and Malka Nadel, and we have lived in Chile (South America) for many years.
We have all met by chance recently, in September 2007. Some of them do not know, and others are not interested, but a group of them have taken up this initiative seriously.
We are now trying to re-unite our origin and true roots, and, hopefully, more of our Cohl or Kohl relatives. Between 1860 and 1890, approximately, with a Russian citizenship letter and at intervals, four Polish brothers began their arrival in Chile. They were all children of Nachman Kohl and Malka Nadel. They never went back to their native land in Kalisz, Poland, nor did they ever see their parents again.
Upon their arrival in Chile, it was not possible for them to reveal their Jewish origins due to the culture of society at the time, a fact which is of no importance to us now. There is no political or religious interest in this initiative of ours.
Our motivations are strictly due to family reasons, of seeking out our far-away Kohl or Cohl from Kalisz relatives in other places in the world as well as getting to know the truth. We have the right and the obligation to do so.

אנו מנסים לאתר צאצאים/קרובים של משפחת קול (KOHL or COHL). ובמיוחד צאצאים/קרובים של נחמן קול ומלכה פוגל נאדל Nachman Kohl and Malka Fogel Nadel – שהתגוררו בפולין ב- Kalisz, Governia, Poland. שמות ארבעת הילדים :

ידוע לנו על כ- 200 איש בעלי קשר דם ישיר שקשורים ל נחמן קול ומלכה פוגל נאדל המתגוררים כיום בצ'ילה. בין 1860 -1890 ארבעה אחים פולנים (ילדי נחמן קול ומלכה נאדל) הגיעו בזה אחר זה לצ'ילה. הם ניתקו את
קשריהם עם פולין ולא ראו מאז את הוריהם. עם הגיעם לצ'ילה ובשל המצב החברתי לא היה אפשרי עבורם לחשוף את היותם יהודים באותה התקופה. כל מי ששמע/מכיר/יודע משהו מוזמן לפנות- נודה על כל מידע/או עזרה בנושא איתור הקרובים.
